Vaccines4Life
Description of the website
The website of Vaccines4Life is a member of the WHO-led project Vaccine Safety Net (VSN).
Vaccines4Life is a knowledge mobilization platform that serves as a point of connection on the most urgent matters related to adult vaccination. Vaccine4Life exists to drive a new narrative on adult vaccination in the context of healthy ageing. Prevention, Access and Equity are foundational in a cross-disciplinary agenda which aims to improve awareness that translates to changed behaviour against the life-threatening consequences of vaccine preventable diseases.
Trusted, respectful relationships that help build the capacity of others are at the core of the V4L program activities.
- The World Coalition on Adult Vaccination serves as a global knowledge exchange and dissemination outreach platform. The Coalition comprises NGOs and academia, clinicians, public health and scientific experts and associations collaborating on a common agenda around a life course approach to vaccination.
- The IFA Expert Centre enables citizens and associated press to contact and learn from some of the world’s leading thought leaders on adult vaccines, public health and patient engagement. Experts are featured in Expert Spotlights, where IFA highlights timely and relevant content that shares insights on current news or trending topics related to adult vaccination.
- VacciNet is a knowledge repository of the Vaccines4Life platform, curating content on adult vaccination from a variety of different sources, including but not limited to journal articles, reports, media, presentations, and webinars.
Changing the Conversation on Adult Influenza Vaccination presents the findings of a ten country environmental scan of public health messages pertaining to influenza vaccination from governmental, and patient and advocacy organizations.
