The Republican Center for Immunoprophylaxis (RCI) of the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic is a state public health organization at the primary level that provides prevention of vaccine-preventable diseases and provides immunoprophylactic assistance to the population.
RCI's work is to reduce the incidence of preventable infectious diseases through vaccines, by ensuring sustainable coverage of the population with immunization and increasing access to quality-assured vaccines.
Resources in the website include:
- the calendar of preventive vaccinations;
- recommendations to ensure safe immunization practices, proper Cold Chain and practical assistance to health care facilities of the republic and
- information on vaccine-controlled infectious diseases (diphtheria, tetanus, whooping cough, mumps, poliomyelitis, measles, rubella, viral hepatitis B, hemophilic infection) accessible to general public and healthcare professionals.
