Caring for Kids is funded by the Canadian Paediatric Society. This site does not accept product advertisements.

The CPS’ activities and programs are funded through a wide variety of sources, including membership dues, revenue from continuing medical education events and annual conferences, publications, unrestricted grants from individuals, foundations and corporations, as well as government grants. Monies are then allocated to the Society’s programs.

Website’s content or editorial policy

Most documents on Caring for Kids are based on CPS position statements, which are created by expert committees and approved by the Board of Directors. Position statements are reviewed each year to ensure they are up-to-date. Other documents are developed and reviewed by the CPS Public Education Advisory Committee, which is made up of practicing paediatricians from across Canada.
